Adverse Camber

Adverse Camber produces electric encounters for adult audiences through storytelling and music.

An independent production company, Adverse Camber works with artists at the leading edge of contemporary storytelling including Creative Wales major award winner Michael Harvey, Thüringe Märchen prizewinner Jan Blake, Nick Hennessey, Xanthe Gresham-Knight and Katy Cawkwell, plus musicians from Norway, Finland and the UK.  We act as a catalyst, bringing artists, partners, venues, audiences and resources together to commission, develop and tour outstanding performances of storytelling and music.  We are also currently facilitating a project connecting young people in care in Derbyshire with stories, with storyteller Christine McMahon.  From 2015-18, Adverse Camber is in receipt of a major Strategic Touring grant from Arts Council England, touring and co-commissioning new performances to a growing network of arts venues and rural tours.
