James Boon Architects
James Boon Architects is an exciting new architects practice, established in 2018, and experienced in conservation, adaption and extensions to listed and historic buildings as well as new community, cultural and residential buildings in historic and sensitive settings.
Based in the Grade I Listed Cromford Mills, set within the Derwent Valley Mills World Heritage Site, in a short space of time we have become an Award Winning practice and have established a variety of clients from private individuals, through specialist developers to museums and charitable trusts.
The director James is a hands-on architect providing a personal service, who has experience of conservation but can design buildings which meet today’s needs and ensuring that the building can be of use in the future. James is supported by a dedicated and enthusiastic team of staff working with him out of the offices at Cromford Mills.
